**NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE** This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of an open market sole source award for Preventive Maintenance and Repairs on GE Healthcare Equipment to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Martinsburg WV VA Medical Center located at 510 Butler Ave, Martinsburg, WV 25405. The proposed award is to, GE Healthcare (SAM UEI: ZKN3LZ6VP556), who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the equipment identified in Attachment B below, which is GEHC proprietary products, covered by GEHC patents and other intellectual property rights. Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Soliciting from a single source. Only GEHC can provide the required service on the GEHC equipment systems, per the Sole Source Letter received from GEHC (Attachment A). The term of service shall be 10/1/2023 to 9/30/2028 (Base Year + 4 Option Years). The purpose of this requirement is to Perform Preventive Maintenance and Repairs on the equipment listed in Attachment B below which is located at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV 25405. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). Product Service Code (PSC) is J065 (Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies). Small business size standard is $34.0 million.
