THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE.

This is NOT a request for quotes (RFQ), invitation for bids (IFB) or a request for proposals (RFP). This notice is for planning purposes only. The Government is in no way obligated to award a contract or post a solicitation. This is a statement that the Government plans to post an RFQ solicitation in the near future.

The U.S. Army Corps of seeks a Contractor to supply and deliver one (1) new High Force Fusion Machine for fusing plastic dredge pipe for hydraulic dredging operations.

The solicitation will contain complete specifications for the High Force Fusion Machine, facer, heater, and lifting assembly, which include:

• 20 HP (minimum) motor (must be 3 phase)
• 3 Phase, 480 volt electric with Type II Plug (60A, 4 Pole, 4 Wire, Pin and Sleeve)
• Individual locks for each wheel
• Fuses Pipe Sizes 8” IPS – 24” OD
• Total Machine Dimensions (MAX) - 135" L, 85" W, 70" H
• High Force Cylinder

Contractor shall deliver all equipment no later than 15 March 2024 to the USACE Service Base at Fountain City, WI.

Offeror must be fully registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.
