SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, soliciting proposals for sterilizer cleaning at the Lexington VA Medical Center, 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR 13.3, Simplified Acquisition Methods. The Government intends to award a one year, firm-fixed price contract with four, one-year option periods in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions and specifications of the solicitation. This solicitation will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB s)/ Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, insurance, uniforms, supplies, equipment and reports necessary to cover sterilizer cleaning services. The Contractor shall have available the appropriate number of staff to provide services in a timely manner as outlined by the contract. All licensing and training requirements for staff must be met per solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811210 and the Small Business Administration size standard is $34 Million. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about August 16, 2023. Potential quoters must register at https: SAM.gov to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract neither does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation because of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
