Sources Sought The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Business Manufacturers, other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing items requested, as well as any large businesses. The results from this source sought notice will be used to determine set-aside. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price supply purchase. There is an SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule Class waiver for this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for sources of the following (see attached spreadsheet for a complete list of required items): Item Qty Leksell Vantage Head Frame 2 Leksell Vantage Head Frame Positioning Band, 10pcs 5 Leksell Vantage Arc System designed to allow the surgeon to select any desired trajectory to the predetermined target, regardless of the patient s position, 2 Minimum 1-year parts and labor warranty 2 Salient Characteristics: Any equal equipment must be compatible with ROSA surgical robot and StealthNavigator S8 systems for use in Essential/significant physical, functional, or performance characteristics. Neurosurgical headframe used to pin the skull and to physically attach to the ROSA robot during DBS (deep brain stimulator) and RNS (responsive neuro stimulator) procedures. Headframe system must be compatible with the use of intraoperative CT and MRI machines. Headframe system must have stereotactic coordinate mapping instrumentation that can be attached intraoperatively. When the stop slide is set to zero it can accommodate instrumentation with a length up to 190mm. The stop slide must be able to allow the surgeon to bring the guide down to the base of the skull while maintaining trajectory. Headframe system must be compatible with the use of RF generator during interoperative procedures. Headframe system must be capable of localization calculation based on a defined zero starting point which utilizing no negative numbers.
