Services shall be required at the following locations: -UWDC DET ASL 53370 Cabrillo Memorial Drive, San Diego CA, 92106 The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement (in accordance with Seaport-NxG rolling admissions) is 541330 with a size standard of $41.5. The contract term will be a base period of one year. The anticipated award date is 01 June 2023. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted in May 2023. Background: This services described herein will support Arctic Submarine Laboratory (ASL) in planning, preparing for, and conducting submarine pacific/arctic operations and performing research regarding operational performance of nuclear submarines in the pacific/arctic. The procurement will consist of the following: Contractor to research, develop, and have a Departure from Specification (DFS) for modifying a NAVSEA approved TempAlt package. This will support SUBPACs requirement of a having a Seabird stand-alone system installed on several SUBPAC submarines.
