The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, Brand Name Only, firm fixed price contract, provision of Stratasys, Inc. for the Machining & Fabrication Group (MFG). This is to replace the previous 3D Printer which as reach End-of-Life. The product must be able to additively produce parts out of thermoplastic materials particularly nylon (PA11 and PA12) using a plastic powder-based sintering process and seamlessly integrate with the existing materialize software suites therefore, Stratasys Inc. is the only manufacturer capable of fulfilling the requirements of the FBI.

This notice will be distributed solely through the U.S. General Services Administration’s beta.sam.gov website (www.beta.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the beta.sam.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012, to receive government contracts. The FBI uses a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company’s SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, UEI, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
