The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole-source procurement action to Exerplay Inc. for repair surfacing and inspection of 773 FSS Ketchikan School Age Center Playground to bring the the playground to ASTM/CPCS standards for use.

1. Program Information

The Contractor shall procure and provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and any other necessary items and services necessary to accomplish the repair and inspection of the KSAC playground surface area. Repairs and inspection on Ketchikan SAC playground surface area must be completed by 31 Aug 2023 (see attachments).

2. Capabilities Description

Repair and Inspection of Ketchikan School Aged Center Playground (see Performance Work Statement attached). The contractor’s primary inspection services shall be performed by certified Playground Safety Inspector that meet ASTM/CPCS safety standards. Work shall be performed by licensed personnel. Note: Required certification/license to be made available when requested. At the conclusion of the project, required certification shall be performed by Licensed Personnel to test and verify for proper operation.

The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 238990, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $16.5M. The PSC is: Z2PZ
