On behalf of the Nashville VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 is issuing this Intent to Sole Source. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a Firm Fixed Price award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Censis Technologies, Inc. and will be issued as a purchase order. The prospective contractor shall provide Censitrac Hardware for tech refresh that is compatible with existing hardware and integrates seamlessly with the existing systems. Items being purchased are as follows: ITEM # Description/Part Number Part # QTY 1 Hardware - Tangent KW 22 Workstation VHA OIT Approved - 500 GB SSD, 16 GIG RAM, i7 Processor (Part # Medixkw22) CT0196 25 2 Hardware - FIPS Compliant wireless scanner (Brand: Zebra)(Model # DS8178-HCBU210FP5W) (Part #DS8178-HC) CT0128 25 3 Hardware-Gov Label Printer (Brand: Zebra)(Model # ZD4A042-301E00GA) (Part #ZD421) CT0181 14 NCO 9 intends to award this requirement as a sole source purchase order under the provision of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to Censis Technologies Inc. Based on market research, the required items can only be purchased from Censis Technologies Inc. According to the current manufacturer, Censis Technologies Inc is a Proprietary Source for this product and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Therefore, the sole source award to Censis Technologies Inc. is in the best interest of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334510 with the size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. Any vendor who believes it can meet the requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by 5/5/2023 at 11:00 AM CT. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to ramona.bonness@va.gov. Responses must include letter of authorization to provide the aforementioned products on OEM letterhead. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
