The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the repair and maintenance of firing range stations. These repairs include an auger conveyor, reactive steel targets, firing range controls, vacuum projectile recovery system and turning targets. Accordingly, Action Target, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of ALL Firing Range equipment at the Transportation Security Administration Training Center (TSATC). The TSA intends to award a purchase order to Action Target Inc., 3411 S Mountain Vista Parkway, Provo Utah, 84606. This contract will address the requirements of providing repair and maintenance services of the firing range stations located at the TSA Training Facility

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
