(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (ii) Solicitation number 36C26123Q0190 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted full and open. The NAICS code is 621910. (v) The contract line items are listed in the price schedule of the solicitation package. (vi) The contractor shall provide Sold Waste Disposal Services for the VA Central California Health Care Systems (Fresno) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that is included in the solicitation package. (vii) The contract will be for a base year plus three option year. The period of performance is listed in the Price Schedule and Performance Work Statement (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. See the solicitation package for this provision which includes the quote submission instructions. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. See the solicitation package for the evaluation factors that will be used to determine which vendor will be selected for the contract award.
