1. Ukraine received the Loan No. 9238-UA from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in US dollars to finance the Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project and intends to use part of the funds to make payments under the Contract No. MOES-UIHERP-C3-EMERGENCY-30 “Procurement of Laboratory Equipment. Part 2.”

2. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine invites eligible participants to submit proposals for the supply of the laboratory equipment, including the following:

• dry air incubator;
• drying oven;
• magnetic stirrer with heating;
• 4-position water bath;
• laboratory freezer;
• benchtop pH meter;
• laboratory pH meter;
• gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer;
• has chromatography complex;
• liquid chromatograph with diode array and refractometric detectors;
• CO2 incubator for animal cell cultivation
• household refrigerator
• incubator shaker
• water purification system;
• laboratory water quality analyzer;
• laboratory scales
• portable conductivity/TDS meter
• analytical scales
• water distiller
• electric laboratory scales
• bactericidal irradiator
• nitrate meter
• ultrasonic bath
• laboratory autoclave
• laboratory bioreactor fermenter
• portable multifunctional device for measuring soil moisture and electrical conductivity
• soxhlet extractors
• automatic autoclave for sterilization
• freeze dryer
• water analysis laboratory with test strips
• pH meter with a spear electrode (for soil and food products)
• ultrasonic laboratory disintegrator
• soil densitometer
• filter holder with pump included
• cooled dry air incubator

The expected duration of the supply of goods is 120 (one hundred twenty) days from the date of signing the contract.

3. The World Bank requires compliance with the Bank’s Anti-Corruption Guidelines and its applicable sanctions policies and procedures, as outlined in the World Bank Group Sanctions Framework. In further compliance with this policy, Bidders shall permit and require their agents (whether declared or not), subcontractors, sub-consultants, service providers, suppliers and personnel to permit the Bank to inspect all invoices, records and other documents relating to the request for quotations and execution of the contract (in case of award), as well as for their verification by auditors appointed by the Bank.

4. The participant provides at least the following additional documents as part of the offer:

• Manufacturer’s authorization for the offered equipment (if applicable);
• Information on the local authorized service department/company.
