         Caritas Ukraine is a member of Caritas Internationalis, one of the largest international networks of charitable organizations in the world and Europe, and has a network of more than 40 local organizations throughout Ukraine. The national offices of Caritas Ukraine are located in Kyiv and Lviv. Caritas Ukraine develops and implements national programs to provide social assistance and support to the most vulnerable population of Ukraine, regardless of nationality or religion. To this end, it receives private donations and public funding from various donors. In the above mentioned project financed by DG-ECHO Caritas Ukraine acts as the implementing partner for Caritas Austria. As part of the relief measures on the ground Caritas Ukraine is planning to distribute food and hygiene parcels. The package content was compiled on the basis of recommendations through the cluster system and previous experience of Caritas Ukraine. The subject of the contract is the supply of 15.000 food kits (food parcels consisting of 16 items per parcel, weight approx. 14 kg per parcel) and 5.460 hygiene kits (hygiene parcels consisting of 14 items per parcel).
