         Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for a PeacePlus Skeoge United programme. The purpose of this tender is to deliver a community cohesion programme based in the Skeoge area of Ballynarett DEA. The area is a new, fast developing social housing neighbourhood with approximately 7000 residents by 2025. It is predominantly CNR/Single-identity, and the community has a wide range of complex and inter-connected problems (and opportunities), which have led to low levels of civic participation. There are increasing resident concerns in relation to the lack of community development infrastructure and amenities, including the need for physical community space and youth facilities. This tender is designed to meet some of those expressed needs. The project will consist of the following 2 elements: 1. Capital: purchase a minibus and 3 pop up marquees.
