II.1.4) Short description

The Royal Academy of Music is a Conservatoire in London and a member of the Institution of the University of London, and offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, and a Musical Teaching qualification (LRAM).

The Royal Academy of Music is seeking to partner with one catering services provider to deliver café, bar and hospitality catering services via multiple outlets on their site in London. In addition, the intention is to source a contractor with a company ethos that matches that of RAM and ensure that staff are motivated and given the opportunities for training and career development. The contractor must have a proactive approach to grow the meals uptake. Experience of similar education-based multi-site operations is vital.

The contract is scheduled to commence at the beginning of January 2024, with mobilisation through October 2023 to December 2023. The contract will be for an initial 5 years, with a +1yr, +1yr extension clause at RAM"s discretion (5+1+1).

The catering services contract is for 5 years (plus possible 2 year extension on a +1yr, +1 yr basis).

Independent consultants, Panache South, are assisting the Conservatoire with the facilitation of the procurement exercise. Interested parties are invited to complete and return the Selection Questionnaire document, which can be downloaded via the link provided in the Find A Tender advert.
