Gas measurement & detection tools are critically important pieces of equipment that assist NGN operations in detecting and measuring gas. NGN are seeking to award a contract to a single supplier to service / calibrate its existing gas detection units and also purchase circa 100 gas detection units for use on the network. This urgent requirement is due to the winter contingency period where there is more operational activity with regards to gas escapes etc... requiring more resource and equipment to keep customers safe.

NGN are looking to tender out this requirement in 2023 once the winter contingency period has passed.
