1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB-P9035I-12/21 dated 14/12/2021 and the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 28/05/2025.

2. The TARURA - NJOMBE REGIONAL OFFICE has received CREDIT from the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency towards the cost of the Bottleneck Improvement for Construction of Arch Bridges (3 Nos.) Along Makusi-igenge Road, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Bottleneck Improvement for Construction of Arch Bridges (3 Nos.) along Makusi-Igenge Road.

3. The TARURA - NJOMBE REGIONAL OFFICE now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Bottleneck Improvement for Construction of Arch Bridges (3 Nos.) along Makusi-lgenge Road for: SfN. Description Location Quantity Construction Margin Period Preference

Procurement Act, CAP 410, and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from TARURA - NJOMBE REGIONAL OFFICE, CPCP Nduna Stanley Katambala of P.O. Box 842 NJOMBE and inspect the bidding document through NeST. 6. A complete set of bidding document(s) in English may be accessed through NeST freely.

7. Bidders are required to register through NeST and pay the bid participation fees indicated in the NeST (https://nest.go.tz/nest-tenderer/wallet/tender-charges) to be able to participate in this Bidding process. NeST payment user guide is made available in the NeST dashboard.

8. Bids must be submitted electronically through NeST on or before 2:00 PM hours local time on 12/12/2025. Bid(s) will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Bid opening details will be available to the through NeST.

9. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Bidding Documents.

10. Bids not received or opened through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
