Transport services "Lucerne Trolleybuses for Zhytomyr (Ukraine)"

Description: The transport of second-hand trolleybuses, spare parts, equipment for the maintenance, and– in the form of a service on demand, one special vehicle for the maintenance of the overhead-wires, donated by Lucerne Public Transport Company (VBL), from Lucerne and Rothenburg/LU, Canton Lucerne, Switzerland to Zhytomyr, Ukraine is part of a cooperation between SECO and the City of Zhytomyr. In the framework of the project “Swiss-Ukrainian Public Transport Partnership Phase IV”, 10 articulated, 3 double articulated trolleybuses of the type “Hess, Swisstrolley2” and one special vehicle for the maintenance of the overhead-wires will be donated to the City of Zhytomyr. The trolleybuses and the special vehicle must be carried by truck. Together with the trolleybuses, a certain quantity of spare-parts will be transported to Zhytomyr, some of those inside the trolleybuses. Most of the equipment and spare parts will probably be separately loaded in one to three 40-ton standard trucks.
