         Tryckning av taktila bilderböcker (collagebilder)

         Beskrivning av produktionen

         En taktil collagebok innehåller vanligtvis 10-15 bildsidor. Bildsidorna har oftast en tryckt färg som bakgrund och tryckt text. Textsidorna har vanligtvis vit bakgrund med text i svart eller färg samt transparent eller färgad punktskrift. Omslagen är ofta flerfärgade med taktila ytor och detaljer samt punktskrift.

         Trycket kan innehålla:

         upphöjda taktila ytor och punkter

         vanlig text, bildelement och färgfält.

         Tryckningen görs idag i första hand med hjälp av screentryck men detta är inget krav utan MTM välkomnar även andra metoder för tryckning för att uppnå likvärdigt eller bättre resultat.

         Varje bokexemplar som säljs till bibliotek och privatpersoner läses många gånger, de läses med fingrarna. Distributionen sker per post, vilket ställer höga krav på både hållbar färg och kartong.

         Produktionen av en taktil bilderbok löper under en längre period, ofta närmare ett år. Den omfattar idag följande delmoment:1. Utformning av taktila bilder2. Laserskärning av material till collagebilderna3. Tryckning4. Montering av laserskuret material på tryckta boksidor5. Inbindning

         Denna upphandling berör endast delmoment 3. För övriga moment har MTM pågående avtal.
