El objeto del presente contrato es la prestación de los servicios deportivos llamado "Servicios de atención al cliente, servicios deportivos, asesoramiento y conducción a los equipamientos deportivos municipales de Gavà" que consiste en la ejecución de un programa de actividades físico deportivas y de salud dirigidas a la población de Gavà, así como el asesoramiento en la mejora continua de los servicios en los equipamientos deportivos municipales mediante sistemas de trabajo en equipo y programas de calidad.

También tiene como objeto, dado que se trata de un servicio intensivo en mano de obra, mejorar las condiciones sociolaborales del personal adscrito al mismo.

Por otro banda y vinculado a la actividad acuática educativa (actividad de piscina en horario escolar), hasta ahora podían entrar acompañantes para cambiar los niños y niñas en los vestuarios. Este aspecto provocaba quejas por parte de los centros educativos, por losproblemas de gestión como la carencia de familiares en determinados horarios, pero sobre todo carencia de garantías en la entrada de familiares para estar en contacto con otros niños y niñas que no son sus hijos/se.La contratación de personal técnico específico en apoyo de vestuarios, mejora y ayuda la gestión cabe los centros educativos y garantiza la presencia de personal técnico en los vestuarios con obligación de tener un certificado de delitos de naturaleza sexual.
