El servicio citado consiste fundamentalmente en dar cumplimiento del R.D. 39/1997 de 17 de enero, por el que seaprueba el Reglamento de los Servicios de Prevención, como desarrollo de la Ley 31/1995, de 8 de noviembre, dePrevención de Riesgos Laborales, que en su artículo 14, apartado a), especifica que la actividad preventiva en laempresa debe realizarse a través de un Servicio de Prevención Propio. El Servicio de Prevención propio de laMancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla no incluye los medios necesarios para el desarrollo de las actividadespreventivas de la especialidad de Vigilancia de la Salud.
