         Suministro, instalación y puesta en funcionamiento de un sistema de post-procesado para biomateriales y fabricación de biosensores para la Universidad de las Illes Balears, financiado con el proyecto 07FI2022, Infraestructuras cientificotécnicas Ecosistema de Ciencia y tecnología de les Illes Balears.

         Los Servicios Científico-Técnicos de la UIB necesitan disponer de un sistema de post-procesado para biomateriales y fabricación de biosensores de última generación compatible con el desarrollo de aplicaciones basadas en sistemas microelectromecánicos integrados. Dicho sistema deberá poder aplicarse tanto a biosensores que operan en ambientes gaseosos como aquellos que incluyen sistemas de microfluídica. Por ello, el sistema mencionado deberá brindar la posibilidad de deposición de películas delgadas utilizando materiales tanto metálicos como aislantes incluyendo técnicas diversas (evaporación térmica, por haz de electrones (E-beam) y por Sputtering, y decapado in situ). Las características de las películas depositadas se determinarán mediante un perfilómetro óptico que permita caracterizar en detalle las propiedades de las capas depositadas, incluyendo la topografía de la superficie, rugosidad y alturas de escalones, ajustándose a las especificaciones detalladas en el pliego de prescripciones técnicas. Asimismo, se precisa disponer de un equipo de escritura directa por láser para tecnología micro nano electrónica para dotar a los servicios científico-técnicos de un método alternativo a la litografía óptica para la fabricación de componentes sin necesidad de utilizar máscaras de contacto. Por otra parte, se incluirá un sistema de impresión por inkjet para la deposición selectiva de capas de polímero con patrones predefinidos, con posibilidad de impresión por capas.
