La justificación principal de esta renovación es que es difícil encontrar mercado para esta póliza, por lo que en el caso de no renovar y sacar a concurso esta póliza, se corre el riesgo de que nadie presente oferta o la que se presente tendría un precio mucho más alto del revisto para la renovación de la misma. Dicha prórroga está prevista en el apartado M del Anexo I del Pliego de Condiciones.
