Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

En virtud de lo establecido en:

El apartado 20 de la Cláusula primera del Pliego de Cláusulas Administrativas Particulares del expediente: se podrá modificar el contrato en todos sus lotes, durante la vigencia del contrato, todo ello en virtud de lo establecido en el artículo 101 de la Ley de Contratos del Sector Público.

Cláusula 27 del PCAP, el contrato celebrado entre el Hospital Clínico San Carlos y la empresa EQUIPAMIENTOS SANITARIOS S.A.., se modifica el contrato en mayor importe (20 % del presupuesto inicial del contrato correspondiente al periodo de vigencia inicial del contrato).

VII.2.2)Reasons for modification
Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

El órgano de contratación podrá acordar, una vez perfeccionado el contrato y por razones de interés público, modificaciones en el mismo en los casos y en la forma previstos en la subsección 4.ª, sección 3.ª, capítulo I, título I del libro segundo y de acuerdo con el procedimiento regulado en el artículo 191 de la LCSP, justificándolo debidamente en el expediente (Cláusula 27 del PCAP). Visto el Informe de Necesidad del Jefe del S. de Oftalmolología y Jefe de la Unidad de Coordinación de Trasplantes del HCSC proponiendo la modificación en mayor importe del contrato derivado de la adjudicación del expediente PA 2021-0-148, la Dirección-Gerencia de conformidad con lo establecido en el apartado 20 de la cláusula primera y cláusula 27 del Pliego de Cláusulas Administrativas Particulares del expediente resuelve aprobar el nuevo importe para dicho contrato resultado de incrementar las unidades estimadas para cubrir las necesidades del Hospital.
