VII.2.1)Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

La justificación principal es que este contrato incluye prestaciones imprescindibles para la correcta operación del servicio de autobuses que presta EMT. Los sistemas tecnológicos existentes en la flota requieren tanto mantenimiento correctivo cuando se producen averías, como mantenimiento preventivo que reduzca el grado de incidencia y mantenimiento evolutivo que permita la constante actualización, mejora y adecuación a las necesidades de EMT. Así mismo es necesario dotar a los autobuses de nueva incorporación de los sistemas tecnológicos necesarios para la correcta explotación del servicio. Así mismo se considera que la prórroga supone una ventaja económica frente a la tramitación de un nuevo expediente de contratación debido a la evolución ascendente de los precios de mercado. La prórroga propuesta está prevista en el apartado S del Anexo I del Pliego de Condiciones Generales
