VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Existen dos supuestos de hecho que requieren la modificación del contrato que son, por un lado la ampliación de la franja de edad de la población diana actual de 50 a 69 años, a la nueva población diana de las edades comprendidas entre los 45 a 74 años, y, por otro lado, la

inclusión de las poblaciones de mujeres incluidas en el programa de los municipios mencionados.

Estas dos circunstancias se encuentran dentro del supuesto de modificación del contrato, consistente en la necesidad de realizar un número de mamografías, durante la ejecución del contrato, superior al inicialmente estimado.

Por otro lado, y de conformidad con la memoria de la DGASRS, resulta intrínsecamente necesario que las mamografías realizadas a las mujeres con edades comprendidas entre los 45 y 50 años, se lleven a cabo con la técnica de tomosíntesis, pues así lo recomienda la evidencia

científica.
