      Los contratos correspondientes a los siete lotes del suministro de víveres al CAR de Sevilla se formalizaron en marzo de 2021, con un plazo de ejecución de 24 meses, previéndose la posibilidad de prórroga, antes de su finalización, por un plazo máximo de 24 meses. Las empresas suministradoras han manifestado su oposición a la prórroga. Entendiendo que se da una necesidad inaplazable de disponer de nuevos contratos de suministro de víveres, con precios adaptados a la situación actual del mercado, se constata la existencia de razones de interés público para acelerar el procedimiento de adjudicación y se inicia un procedimiento abierto, con tramitación urgente del expediente al amparo del artículo 119 de la Ley 9/2017, de 8 de noviembre, de Contratos del Sector Público.
