         El servicio de transporte adaptado y asistido consiste en recoger las personas usuarias en los portales de sus domicilios y transportarlos a los respectivos centros de destino, y posteriormente recoger en los centros y volverlos a los portales de los domicilios, ajustando la recogida al horario de apertura y cierre de los centros.

         La realización de este servicio incluye también la asistencia en las tareas de movilidad y anclaje de las sillas de ruedas y la atención y vigilancia de las personas beneficiarias durante el trayecto. Esta asistencia se lleva a cabo por una persona auxiliar en ruta con formación específica a tal efecto.

         Los vehículos que tengan que prestar el servicio tendrán que ser especialmente adaptados para el transporte de personas con movilidad reducida y tendrán que cumplir todos aquellos requisitos legales que exigen las disposiciones vigentes en la materia.
