VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

De conformidad con el artículo 205.2.a) de la Ley de Contratos del Sector Público, modificación del contrato al objeto de de llevar a cabo en cada uno de los camiones la adaptación de las dimensiones de la bodega que permita alojar en su interior bandejas aéreas ya conformadas con su carga, la instalación de un sistema de rodillos neumáticos escamoteables y la instalación de los soportes y sistemas necesarios para permitir arrastrar un remolque.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

La empresa TSD, como responsable del carrozado, blindaje y transformación de todos los vehículos del Banco de España, es la que realizó en su momento el proyecto y la ingeniería para dicha trasformación y blindaje y, por ello, la única que conoce el diseño, ensamblaje y composición de materiales y piezas que conforman la estructura blindada de los vehículos. Para poder realizar las modificaciones e instalación de los equipamientos citados es imprescindible conocer los detalles y características técnicas de dicho blindaje y transformación, que solamente conoce la empresa que los ha llevado a cabo, por lo que asisten motivos técnicos y de seguridad evidentes, y no es posible que el servicio objeto del contrato lo pueda prestar otra empresa diferente. Igualmente, La modificación del contrato implica una alteración en su cuantía que no excede del 50% de su importe inicial, IVA excluido (supone un incremento del 15,01% del precio inicial, no habiéndose acordado modificaciones previas del contrato).
