Expression of Interests are hereby invited for the servicing and maintenance of three (3) semi-rigid boats and six (6) outboard motors for the Client, Durban, on an as-and-when-required basis for five (5) years. Scope: Boat 1: • Wave rider DTC 787 C; • Engines 2 x Suzuki DF90 Outboard motors; • Annual servicing of motors and gearboxes; • Changing of anodes when required; • Replacement of propellers when required (aluminium, 3-blade and 14” x 19 pitch). Boat pontoons, deck, and hull 6.5 m semi-rigid with Cat hull repairs and replacement as and when required: • Minor puncture repairs; • Reinstallation of handles and ropes; • Replacement of pontoons; • Repairs of minor cracks of the deck and hull; • Transom replacement. Steering: • Servicing of the steering system (hydraulic) when required. Electronics when required: • Replacement VHF radio (Standard Horizon Eclipse Series GX1400G 25W) with DCS and mounted, with installation; • Replacement GPS and transducer (Garmin Striker Vivid 7CV fish finder with GT20-TM Transducer). Safety and certificates when required: • Buoyancy certificate; • Category C flare and smoke set; • SAMSA approved 100N life jacket; • Folding anchor 6kg with 10m of chain (Galvanized). Trailer service and maintenance (Double Axel) when required: • Bearing service (B32007 and B30205, Burquip kit 4 (BKIT04); • 16 x rollers; • Leaf suspension replacement (8 springs) with mountings; • Jockey wheel replacement (suitable for 1600 kg boat); • Axel replacement (Burquip AFD45M), 1600 kg and 2240 mm; • Rim replacement (14”, 6 stud); • Tyre replacement (195R14C). Boat 2: • Halcyon DTD 289 E; • Engine Yamaha 30hp 2 stroke motors; • Annual servicing of motor and gearbox; • Replacement of propellers (aluminium, 3 blade and 9 7/8”x 13 pitch) when required. Pontoon, deck and hull of 4.3 m semi-rigid rubber duck with mono hull repairs and replacement as and when required: • Minor puncture repairs; • Reinstallation of handles and ropes; • Replacement of pontoons; • Repairs of minor cracks to deck and hull; • Transom replacement. Trailer service and maintenance (Single Axel): • Bearing service - B30204 and B30205, Burquip kit 1 (BKIT01); • 6 rollers; • Jockey wheel replacement (suitable for 450kg boat); • Rim replacement (13” 4 stud,4/100); • Tyre replacement (165/80R13T). Safety and certificates when required: • Buoyancy certificate; • Category E flare and smoke set. Boat 3: • Blue boat/Estuary boat; • Engine Yamaha 8 HP and 15 HP 2 stroke motors; • Annual servicing of motor and gearbox; • Replacement of propellers (aluminium, 3-blade) when required. Boat pontoons, deck, and hull 3.8 m semi-rigid with mono hull repairs and replacement as and when required: • Minor puncture repairs; • Reinstallation of handles and ropes; • Replacement of pontoons; • Repairs of minor cracks to deck and hull; • Transom replacement.
