Quotations are hereby invited to Repair MV cable at Hercules Sub. Scope: The scope of work is as follows: 1. Open the trench about 310m long; 2. The trench must 1.1m deep and 1m wide; 3. The route of the cable is running on the wet land area and the service provider must have water pump to pump out water when it is required; 4. Cut the PILC cable and pressure test the cable on both side to prove to be clean; 5. Once the cable found to clean proceed with making two joints and test the cable to be clean; 6. Make sure the phasing of the cable is not swapped; 7. Backfill the trench and the work must be clean and tidy; 8. The service provider will be required to use his / her transport to collect the material from stores; 9. The service provider must have done MV cable joints PILC and XLP cable.
