Proposals are hereby for the appointment of an accredited and competent training service provider to facilitate a structure VAT refresher training for finance employees at Kruger National Park. Scope: At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to: • Explain, apply and identify Basic principles of VAT; • When VAT should be charged; • When VAT should not be charged; • Zero-rated versus exempt; • VAT invoices; • Zero-rated supplies; • Exempt supplies; • Basis of accounting; • Residential accommodation; • Agent versus principle; • Good / Services; • Apportionment of VAT; • Changes to input and output VAT; • Processing journals.
