10-06-2025 Quotations are hereby invited to remove and replace cracked aluminum windows and tint all aluminum windows. Specifications: The removal and replacement of five (5) cracked aluminum windows. The sizes are: • 182 x 106, 72 x 92, 109 x 91, 104 x 90 and 72 x 92; • Tinting Twenty (20) aluminum windows for the two (2) security guards" houses and one office. The measurements are: • 182 x 106, 182 x 54, 72 x 92, 153 x 55.5, 72 x 92,58 x 185, 21 x 52, 55.5 x 71, 109 x 91, 109 x 91104 x 90, 90 x 46.5 x 92 x 92, 92 x 92, 44 x 91, 163 x 106, 163 x 43, 46 x 60, 187 x 60 and 1.5 x 1.2. • The window film/tint should provide at least a 20% reflective Visible Light Transmission (VLT), reflecting at least 80% of solar heat gain and reducing glare by at least 75% with good visible light transmission. It should have a scratch resistant coating according to the manufacturer’s specifications. The film should offer a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty against peeling, fading or bubbling. Film colour to match existing colour as best as possible or to present the best. .10-06-2025 Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a Service Provider (SP) to provide the binding and delivery services of four hundred (400) library journals for the Gilchrist Library. Specifications: 1. Each bounded book will be made up of 3 to 4 journal volumes; 2. The cover of the bounded book must be a vinyl hard cover; 3. The main title of the journal must be in gold lettering on the spine of the bounded volume; 4. The numeric sequence of the volumes and the year it was published must also be printed in gold lettering on the spine; 5. 10-06-2025 Proposals are hereby requested for the design and construction supervision of a permanent rail over river bridge on the Veertienstrome - Ramathlabama TFR rail-line at KM 105,738, for a period of 24 months. Scope of works: Employer’s Objectives: The Employer’s objective is to enter a contract with a bridge engineer to provide a service for the design and construction supervision for the permanent river bridge near De beers railway station, on the railway line between Veertienstrome and Vryburg. This shall be supported by the following services: 1. Plan and execute a geotechnical investigation in the location for the permanent bridge. The engineer must conduct geotechnical investigations for the design of the pier foundations and the abutment foundations, 2. Design the permanent river bridge, 3. Produce designs, bill of quantities and specifications for the construction of the permanent bridge, 4. Comprehensive integrated design report for all engineering and design. This report may be submitted later (after construction), 5. Quality inspections of construction works. The engineer will approve the concrete mix design and will also be responsible for the testing of the concrete in accordance with the applicable standards, 6. Close out, including signed-off as-built drawings. .

10-06-2025 Extension of Closing Date: Tenders are hereby invited for the supply and delivery of Pulse Jet Fabric Filter Plant (PJFF) cages on "as and when required" basis at Kusile Power Station for the period of five (5) years. Scope of works: a) The Contractor manufactures the cage according to the details shown on the latest drawings, b) The cages are free of sharp edges and burrs, which can damage the PJFF bag during installation or operation of the Pulse Jet Fabric Filter (PJFF), c) The dimensions of the cage provided on the drawing include the coating thickness, if any, d) The rings are induction welded onto the wires, e) The wires are induction welded onto the Hem Cup and to the collar, f) The Contractor ensures that the cage Vendor controls the design and fit of the coupling connection to accomplish the following: i. The cages do not deform during assembly, ii. The cages can be disassembled and re-assembled as needed over the life of the cage without deformation of the cage or loss of joint integrity, iii. The assembled coupling connection is firm and does not work loose during the life of the cages, iv. The joint resists a minimum vertical load of 45 kg. A maximum load is established at the time of the sample inspection, v. It is preferred that no tools are required for the joint disassembly, g) The cage straightness is measured along the cage length from a reference located 25mm from the cage top and bottom, h) The collar and rings at joints are perpendicular to the cage vertical centre to meet cage straightness and plumbness, i) The welding specification 240-106628253 is adhered in instances where induction welding is not applied, j) All the dimensions are provided in mm unless stated otherwise, k) The splice connection used to connect the filter cage sections together are of the type shown in drawings. The Contractor ensures that the cage Vendor uses a splice connection of this type to connect filter cage sections together, l) Sheet metal used in the top of the cage and bottom of the cage is of the thickness shown in Drawings or if not specified a minimum of 1 mm, m) The maximum spacing between the horizontal rings is 200 mm, n) Each cage section shall have a stamp imprinted/embossed on with the OEM details for traceability and quality purposes. The bottom piece will have the stamp on the hem cup and the top section will have the stamp on the venturi, o) The Contractor ensures that the cage Vendor furnishes and sends 2 filter bag cages to the supplier of the filter bags for fitting. The Employers engineering/QA inspects and accepts the cages prior to shipment to the bag manufacturer. The date for shipping to bag manufacturer will be determined later, p) If additional site services are required, the Contractor ensures that the cage Vendor furnishes a qualified representative for such service at the stipulated per diem rate in the Vendor’s proposal. .
