Scope: The appointed service provider will be responsible for Project Oversight and Reporting: • Attending project steering committee meetings; • Submitting monthly progress reports. Implementation of a GRAP-Compliant Asset Register: • Conducting physical verification of immovable assets; • Providing verification software for movable and immovable assets; • Asset unbundling according to a defined hierarchy; • Providing audit support; • Reviewing and revision of useful lives and residual values of immovable and movable assets for compliance with GRAP; • Conducting impairment assessment for immovable and movable assets based on verification results in compliance with GRAP; • Assisting the entity in successfully addressing the audit findings on PPE as per the Auditor-General"s report; • Reconciling between the asset register and the General Ledger/Trial Balance; • Reporting on work done including detail on applied methodologies; • Training of and transfer of skills to identified staff.
