17-04-2025 Expressions of interest are hereby invited for consultancy to hire a firm for undertaking of training and technical assistance for computation and analysis of poverty statistics - Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) method for 5 client member states as per specifications. The overall objective of this consultancy is to enhance the capacity of statisticians in Member States and in São Tomé and Príncipe (STP) to effectively utilize the MPI as a comprehensive tool for policy development and poverty reduction. By providing in-depth capacity building workshops and targeted technical assistance, this initiative aims to equip national teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to compute, analyze and interpret their national MPIs and clients harmonized MPIs. This, in turn, will enable them to develop evidence-based policies that address the multiple dimensions of poverty, thereby contributing to the achievement of their national development plans, Vision 2050 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specific Objectives (Purpose): (i) Conduct in-depth national trainings on the computation and use of the MPI (including using STATA software) for selected Member States; (ii) Provide technical assistance (TA) to selected Member States to compute national and clients harmonized MPIs based on available survey and/or administrative data and; (iii) Assess gaps during training and/or technical assistance (TA) sessions, and identify the necessary support required to ensure Member States produce the clients harmonized MPIs. Geographical area to be covered: The assignment will be carried out in selected Member States of Clients region. .

The purpose of the Employee Wellness Programme is to provide core employee wellness management services to 160 employees and their immediate family members in line with the following Employee Health and Wellness (EH & W) pillars: • Professional line support services through a toll-free line which is available 24/7/365 days, • On-line Support Services (E-care) through a wellness intranet linked to the entity’s intranet, • Psychological and psychosocial services, • Face-to-face counseling services up to 6 sessions per employee and immediate family member per case, • Health and Life Management services, • HIV and AIDS counselling and support, • Financial and legal services, • Exercise and nutrition management, • Weight management, • Critical incident trauma debriefing or trauma response services, • Managerial consultancy or managerial coaching, support, referral, and training/educational services, • Verification of sick notes, • Team enrichment sessions, i.e, group coaching covering but not limited to diversity, team dynamics, team building, • Provide preventative services in the form of stress management, alcohol and substance abuse, marriage/relationship enrichment, legal advice, personal financial management and preparation for retirement sessions, • Quarterly and annual reporting, • Quarterly wellness initiatives, • Annual Wellness Day on Pretoria and Cape Town Campuses, • Conduct Annual Integrated Health Risk Assessment and provide Occupational Health and Hygiene Report, • Communication, marketing consultancy and wellness promotion services aligned to the National Health Calendar, • Dedicated Client Relationship Manager. The appointed service provider shall make an undertaking to offer wellness management programme for the period of two (2) years. .

Scope of work: The assignment requires a design and layout company to work with the Clients Regional Office to design and layout the technical document. The work will entail the following: 1) Designing two technical documents: Landscape and bottleneck analysis of regulations and policy, financing, manufacturing, procurement and distribution, and use of life-saving new and lesser-used family planning and maternal health commodities - The main report of about 120 pages long and executive summary of the same report of about 22 pages long, using a creative cover and internal design, a consistent branding look and feel, incorporating clients branding and logo, corporate colours and fonts (to be supplied), and applying a fresh set of high resolution images (to be supplied) for the document; 2) Production and design of 5 social media cards: Based on the contents of the Landscape and bottleneck analysis of regulations and policy, financing, manufacturing, procurement and distribution, and use of life-saving new and lesser-used family planning and maternal health commodities document, the contents will be agreed upon with the clients team and produced in a square format using the agreed design elements of the report. Duration and working schedule: The work is expected to take 7 working days, over the period of a month from the 24th of April to the 24th of May 2025 with time for review and feedback included.
