Specifications: They require a professional design company to handle the layout and design of their publication, "Sondela Nawe." The publication is a high-quality, visually appealing piece that should maintain a polished and engaging aesthetic while ensuring readability and clarity. 1. Content and Size: • The final publication size will be smaller than A4 but larger than A5; • All textual and visual content (images, articles, captions, etc.) will be provided by them; • The designer will be responsible for formatting the content appropriately and ensuring an aesthetically pleasing arrangement. 2. 11-04-2025 Quotations are hereby invited for the supply, installation and configuration of data storage servers, monitor servers and high-speed networking equipment at the Centre for High Performance Computing (CHPC). Scope: General specifications: - All equipment operates as a minimum in the operational temperature range of 5 to 40; - All equipment must be compatible with a 220 V, 50 Hz power supply. Storage drives for storage servers: - 24TB or bigger hard disk drives. If bigger drives are supplied, then the number of nodes should be scaled to keep the same overall storage capacity. The configuration of each node should not be changed apart from the drive capacity; - SAS or SATA hard disk drives are acceptable; - Hard disk drives must not use shingled recording technology, inter alia, due to the poor random read / write performance on these types of drives by comparison to non-shingled drives. For example, Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR) is not acceptable; - HDD cache 256MB or more; - HDD speed 7200RPM or more; - Sustained transfer rate of greater than 200MB/s per HDD; - Drives must not be Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID), if hard disk drives are connected to RAID controller drive must be in pass through; - Drive tray must be supplied for all drive bays not populated with an HDD; - It is desirable to have all bulk storage HDD drives hot swappable; - Bidders must provide data sheets and, if available, speed tests, detailing how they meet these minimum requirements for evaluation purposes. Racking for Storage and Monitor Units: - The systems will be installed into existing APC NetShelter 19” AR3100 racks, EIA 19" mounting space; - Each system must have a rail kit compatible with a 4 post 19” rack; - No bezel or cable management arm necessary; - Systems to be no longer than 925mm. Both the front and back door of the rack must be closed after installation; - Bidders must provide data sheets detailing how they meet these minimum requirements for evaluation purposes. Out of Band Management: - Each storage and monitor node must have an OOBM module, e.g. BMC, iDrac, ILOM et cetera; - OOBM must have IPMI capabilities; - OOBM must have Redfish capabilities; - OOBM must have remote console capabilities, delivered via HTML and not JAVA. - OOBM must have power management capabilities, via Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI); - OOBM must have firmware update capabilities, including licensing to update OOBM, BIOS and other system firmware; - Bidders must provide data sheets detailing how they meet these minimum requirements for evaluation purposes. Installation service: - Unpacking and racking of all supplied hardware is required. All packaging to be removed from site post install; - All storage nodes to be configured with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS; - Networking for OOBM, data and OAM access must be configured according to the scheme supplied by the Client. Support/Warranty Service: - The appointed bidder must deliver 5-year, 9 hours x 5 days next day business response and service on-site for the installed hardware; - A statement that the bidder guarantees that parts and their upgrades/replacements, where this may occur, will be available for all hardware for swap out maintaining the agreed output performance for the duration of the contract. .

11-04-2025 The Client invites all interested parties to respond to the proposal to appoint a service provider for the Implementation and Support of a Cloud Based (SAAS), IT Service Management (ITSM) tool and service desk telephony for a period of thirty-six (36) months including maintenance and support. Scope: The aim is to acquire the services of a qualified and experienced service provider to provide, configure, implement and support a SaaS based, ITIL compliant IT Service Management tool/system and service desk telephony for the Client. The tool/system must have the capability to be configured for use by other internal business units, e.g. Facilities for call logging (incident and service requests), resolution and reporting. This component will not be implemented on the first phase. .
