Scope: • Carry out full evaluation of each safety cage; • Remove and dispose correctly of any foreign matter; • De-rust entire cage; • Replace corroded sections with OEM spec materials; • Replace roof sheeting complete and replace with 3mm galvanized; • Straighten any bends on “I” beams/side sections; • Replace all grating with 3mm galvanized wire mesh; • Replace all door hinges with heavy duty TPT approved type; • Treat all corroded areas; • Undercoat entire cage; • Repaint entire cage maintaining original colour [Jotun/international paint only]; • Paint corner uprights yellow/black chevron; • Replace all signage [reflective and bolted chromadek material] / number and decals; • Fit 3m reflective tape on all sides bottom and top; • Restore cage lifting gear with s/steel swivel fitted on shackle pin; • Replace fall arrestor TPT approved type.
