Re-advertisement of Contract number: Q10-2024-25: Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Service and maintenance of horticultural equipment for the City of Tshwane Emergency Services Department for a period not exceeding 12 months. Scope of works: Deliverables: The contractor shall adjust and maintain the horticultural equipment as and when required by the client to ensure that it is in proper working order. As per requirement, the service provider shall: • Service all horticultural equipment as per planned prescribed dates and time, • Check and top up, if necessary, the fluid levels in the motor, • Check and adjust all necessary electrical connections (check for loose connections), and components, • Provide the client with a checklist for horticultural equipment inspected and services. The cost of such inspections, maintenance, adjustments, repairs etc. shall be included in the price summary and the cost of renewing any part which may have become worn through fair wear and tear, or damaged beyond repair shall be replaced. Service requirement: The service to carried out at 6-month intervals with the following checks being carried out: a) Fuel hoses, b) Oil change, c) Replace fuel filter, d) Replace air filter, e) Replace spark plug, f) Inspect starting rope for wear and tear, g) Service carburettor.
