Tenders/Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Repositioning 9 PMC 003 BA in the Cask Storage Building and its transfer between the Cask Storage Building the Fuel Building at Koeberg Power Station as per specifications. Scope: The Employer requires a Contractor to perform the following services: • Clear a pathway in the Cask Storage Building (CSB) to allow the movement of cask 9 PMC 003 BA, located at Row D and Column 1, out of the CSB; • The cask will be lifted using a Gantry lifting device and placed on a Self-Propelled Motorised Transporter (SPMT) which will transfer the cask to the Fuel Building; • As clearing the pathway requires the lifting and movement (shuffling) of surrounding Castor X/28F and HI-STAR 100 casks in the CSB; • Ensure supervision of all tasks to be performed; • The combined mass of each Castor X/28F and HI-Star 100 cask including their respective transport cradle shall be less than 150 000 kg; • The casks shall be handled using single failure proof equipment.
