Scope of Works: New Beginnings Broiler chickens requires a solar system that will be integrated with the existing electricity supply aiming to reduce operational cost and to have independence during load-shedding. The proposed solar PV will have a size of 16KW which was calculated based on operational loads recorded over 7 days. The system will be roof-mounted on the existing building roof (roof layout attached) and will have a 60kWh 1c Lithium-ion back-up batteries which will provide at least 12 hours discharge time or autonomy. The system shall include complete system components such as inverters, DB, wiring and solar system protection. The works, as described, is situated in the Hopefield District.
