Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Receiving pan repairs at Transnet Soc Ltd at the Port of Richards bay Scope: - Repair all receiving pans from all the following conveyors over N02 (K01, K03, K04, K06, K10, K13 and K18); - Strip and remove liners from the pan; - Sandblast and paint receiving pan; - Replace liners inside the pan; - Liner specs: 90A shore wear made of BSF156/6 polyurethane 25mm thick; - Drill and put countersunk fasteners on loose liners to secure them; - Liner installation shall be as per OEM recommended method; - Supply and install stainless steel countersunk fasteners for mounting liners; - Supply and install skirting rubber brackets on the trunking of each receiving pan (Brelko skirting rubber); - Fabricate trunking and install trunking for each receiving pan; - Trunking must accommodate actuator mounted brackets and install the actuator properly. Supply and install 20 x panel door isolators at the E-house: • The isolator must come with metal shaft 282mm; • Pad lockable and din rail mounting. 2. The contractor must supply 80 (24V) LED indicator lamp: • Supply 80 x panel door lamp; • Supply 80 x panel door switch; • All lamps must clear white. 3. Supply and install 100 x heavy-duty panel hinges and locking mechanism: • Each panel hinges must have four mounting holes and it must turn at an angle of 1800. Locks must turn at an angle of 900; • All hinges must have same size 9.5 x 40 x 40mm (304 stainless steel); • Locks must be protected against water and dust according to IP65 of EN 60529; • The lock must take square key (6 x 6mm) and the locking element must be 45mm long. 4. Supply and install 400m of panel door rubber (IP65): • The contractor must install the sealing rubber in all electrical enclosure. The sealing rubber must fit on a plate thickness of 4mm; • Rubber type: Capping Rubber; • Material: Poly, EPDM, PVC. 5. Supply and install 200 x control switch and 15 x 220v enclosure heaters: • Button must be 22mm in diameter and must be IP65; • Button must operate with 12 to 24v. 6. Panel labelling: • Engrave aluminum plate for all labelling; • They are 100 plate for 80 x 30mm, 50 for 100 x 50mm and 200 for 50 x 20mm; • Labelling must be adhered on panel by means of heavy-duty glue and riveted. Fabricate and replace safety guards of O02 and P01 conveyors: • O02 tail pulley area; • O02 drive station and whole area from drive until after counterweight bend pulleys; • P01 tail pulley area; • P01 counterweight bend pulleys area. - Guard dimensions: 3000x730, frame material: L50x50x6; - Three Inspection doors; • P01 Tripper car; • P01 drive station. 2. O02 drive station and whole area from drive until after counterweight bend pulleys: • The safety guards are covering about 42 metres of a distance (from drive station going towards the tail); • Modify the safety guards to be light in weight by reducing the size of the safety guards; - The guard original length of 2900mm to be changed to 1365mm long; - Fabricate and install extra support for additional safety guards; - Fabricate and replace missing/damaged/rusted supports; - Support: square tube 70x70x6; 1430mm in height; 3. Ensure all guards installed to protect against the pulleys have the inspection doors for bearings maintenance; 4. All guards shall have handles and be bolted; 5. The hanging brackets must be also installed as an extra mounting method to keep guards in place; 6. Bracing the walkway between O03 and O02 by installing supports under the gratings and replace grating clamps. .
