Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Provision of service for slow route safety guards repairs. Scope of work: 1. Fabricate and replace safety guards of O02 and P01 conveyors: • O02 tail pulley area; • O02 drive station and whole area from drive until after counterweight bend pulleys; • P01 tail pulley area; • P01 counterweight bend pulleys area. - Guard dimensions: 3000x730, frame material: L50x50x6; - Three Inspection doors; • P01 Tripper car; • P01 drive station. 2. O02 drive station and whole area from drive until after counterweight bend pulleys: • The safety guards are covering about 42 metres of a distance (from drive station going towards the tail); • Modify the safety guards to be light in weight by reducing the size of the safety guards; - The guard original length of 2900mm to be changed to 1365mm long; - Fabricate and install extra support for additional safety guards; - Fabricate and replace missing/damaged/rusted supports; - Support: square tube 70x70x6; 1430mm in height; 3. Ensure all guards installed to protect against the pulleys have the inspection doors for bearings maintenance; 4. All guards shall have handles and be bolted; 5. The hanging brackets must be also installed as an extra mounting method to keep guards in place; 6. Bracing the walkway between O03 and O02 by installing supports under the gratings and replace grating clamps. (ЮАР - Тендер #52957931)
