Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of an approved by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy certifying authority for the certification of fitness of FA platform installation. Scope: To maintain the Certificate of Fitness (COF) of the installation, periodic survey are carried out to the satisfaction of the Certifying Authority. These are controlled by PetroSA Offshore Support Division in Voorbaai. There are mainly two Surveys i.e. Major Surveys and Annual Surveys. An additional survey may be required resulting from any modification, damages and major repairs. PetroSA conducts their routine maintenance in accordance to the Original Equipment Manufacturer standard and records are kept in the central applications program called SAP. The Certifying Authority shall examine the records in relation to the Maintenance, Operation and Assurance Procedures, to verify they are in line with the procedure and standards, status and effectiveness, validity of records.
