The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) require a service provider for the repair and installation of waterproofing sheet membrane for reservoirs at Pretoria National Botanical Garden (PNBG). The scope of work of the Service Provider includes: 1. Repair and installation of waterproofing sheet membrane for all leaking reservoirs: • Thorough cleaning of substrate; • Disinfection of substrate with disinfectant to ensure smooth surface for correct application; • Layout cushion layers at walls and drainage layer on the bottom (geotextiles or geonets); • Approved sheet membrane installation at vertical (walls) areas to fit; • Approved sheet membrane installation at horizontal (bottom) areas to fit; • Detail works at penetrations and fixing elements; • Clean-up site and remove all excess material and rubble off-site as part of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP). 16-09-2023 Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Design and implementation of Wi-Fi network at Petroleum Agency SA. Scope of work: 1. The proposed solution should include a controller-based architecture to centrally manage and control the Wi-Fi network; 2. The access points should be designed for ceiling-mounted installation to ensure optimal coverage and performance throughout the premises; 3. The solution should provide seamless coverage across our entire facility, including offices, and meeting or boardrooms; 4. The proposed solution should be scalable to accommodate our growing needs; 5. The solution should incorporate a web filtering solution to enforce internet usage policies and provide content filtering capabilities; 6. The Wi-Fi solution must support the latest IEEE 802.11 standards, such as Wi-Fi 6 and 6E (802.11ax), ensuring high data transfer rates and low latency; 7. The solution should include robust security features, such as WPA3-Enterprise encryption, rogue access point detection, and intrusion prevention mechanisms; 8. The Wi-Fi network must be totally separate from the corporate network, with its own Internet access line that is at least 50 Mbps. It will only have the guest SSID; 9. Since the Wi-Fi network needs to be separate from the corporate network, dedicated device/s must be provided with sufficient number of PoE ports to cater for the proposed number of Access Points (APs). If there is a requirement for additional network points, PASA will be responsible for the cabling; 10. The proposed solution should include a minimum three-year warranty on all hardware components, including access points and controllers; 11. The Service provider must provide ongoing technical support during and at least 30 days after the implementation phase, including troubleshooting and issue resolution; 12. Provide training to relevant PASA staff so that they can manage the Wi-fi network. .
