Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Repairs of S04 gallery light for Transnet Port Terminals in Richards Bay. The scope for the required works will entail the following: - 220V, 61W, 4ft fluorescent lights must be repaired; - Contractor provide enough teams to maintain all lights inside the gallery; - Contractor to provide their own step ladders to access lights; - The contractor to provide 120 4ft fluorescent tubes, starters and ballasts to replace; - Contractor to supply and replace 40 4ft fittings; - Contractor to ensure all 120 lights are working before job is closed; - Including entrance and staircase lights must be fully repaired; - Contractor to fault find and fix the tripping lights; - All lights and DB’s must be cleaned; - All dirty lights must be cleaned and closed properly; - Ensure all CCG box and glands are sealed; - All lights must be connected to the three-phase supply in a staggered way; - All lights and cables must be neatly secured; - Cold and hot commission will be required to be present after completion of modification; - The contractor must bring the certified Personnel to carry out the repairs safely; - All components must be SABS approved.
