Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Supply, removal and replacement of signal cables and position limits on R01 moving head for Transnet Port Terminals in Richards Bay. General description of the SOW: - Verify all cables onsite before procuring; - Ensure all cables are at TPT prior of 5 days of occupation (TPT to communicate occupation date); - Isolate the Equipment and mark each cable in both ends (200mm away from gland); - Replace all cables, glands and use bootlace ferrules for terminated stranded wires; - Replace the existing ccg boxes x4; - Ensure a neat wiring on the JB’s; - Ensure no loose connection; - Used galvanised conduit pipe where cables are likely to get damage; - Label all cables as found before (use new labels); - Replace all position limits and make the strike arms; - Ensure all cables are neat, tight and uniformly on the cable tray; - Ensure qualified persons/technician does services; - Test all function of the equipment until all in order then hand over to TPT personnel; - 12 months warranty must be provided for the material and the workmanship; - All material used must SABS approved.
