        The goal of this procurement is to equip 100 Serbian schools with additional 2125 digital workplaces by implementing virtual desktop infrastructure concept. The project implementation period is 270 calendar days in total, conducted in two phases. In Phase 1 the Contractor will deliver the central location equipment and perform implementation and configuration of the VDI-Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solution, including the training on the Data Center location of the Purchaser. Phase 2 includes the end point equipment delivery and installation at remote locations and commissioning of these locations within VDI system.

        The Supplier is obliged to deliver the purchased equipment to about 100 locations (schools) distributed across the territory of Serbia

      4. Description of the procurement:

        The Republic of Serbia has received additional financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB or the Bank) towards the cost of the project Connected Schools in Serbia, Facility B, and intends to apply part of this funds for payments under the Contract: “Procurement of Equipment for IT classrooms, Phase B

        EIB-GtP/404-02-69/2023-15”.

        The Ministry of Education (the Purchaser) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

        • Procurement and delivery of equipment for IT classrooms upgrade (2125 additional digital workplaces) in primary and secondary schools distributed in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

        Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement in accordance with EIB’s Guide to Procurement 2018 (GtP) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the procurement document.

        The Contract shall be concluded for a term of 270 days from the contract signing date. The Contract is expected to be implemented from December 2023 to September 2024.

        Bidding documents may be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 150 EUR or 17.700 RSD.

        All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of EUR 25.000. A Bid Security shall be in the form of an unconditional, irrevocable and payable on the first call and without the right to object bank guarantee issued by a bank.

        The Purchaser shall award the Contract to the Bidder whose Bid has been determined to offer the lowest evaluated price and is substantially responsive to the Bidding Documents, provided further that the Bidder is determined to be qualified to perform the Contract satisfactorily.
