Varianta ocolitoare Medias are o lungime de 8.769,49 m structurata in doua trosoane: Tronson 1 - incepe din DN 14, dintr-o intersectie giratorie existenta la km 50+950, traverseaza calea ferata CF 300, str Rora Mare la km 0+720, urmand sa traverseze canalul Ighis si Tamava Mare.Tronson 2 -incepe de la intersectia giratorie suspendata din DN 14A, urmareste cursul și traverseaza raul Tamava Mare si calea ferata CF 300 pana la intersectia cu DN.Traversarea se face denivelat prin poduri si pasaie
