INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Barangay of BACKILING, Municipality of Aparri, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder goods:

Prospective bidder should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 2 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fall criteria”. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to the Eligibility statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

The schedule of BAC activities is as follows:

4.Receipt and Opening of Bids

• Opening and Preliminary Examination of Bids
Bid Evaluation January 13, 2026, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
5. Post Qualification January 15, 2026
6. Recommendation of Award January 16, 2026
7. Notice of Award January 17, 2026
8. Signing of Contract January 19, 2026

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders complete Eligibility Forms and bidding documents at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Barangay BACKILING, Aparri, Cagayan, upon their payment of a non-refundable amount to the Barangay Treasurer’s Office.

The Barangay of BACKILING, Municipality of Aparri, reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract of award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
