Description
|
I. Rationale
The Board of Investments (BOI) is committed to strengthening its Quality Management System in line with ISO standards. As mandated by ISO, organizations
must establish, control, and maintain documented information to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with statutory and regulatory
requirements.
The conduct of the ISO Documented Information Controller Seminar aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of designated controllers, custodians, and staff
in managing documented information, including the preparation and control of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and various forms in accordance with ISO
standards and organizational policies.
II. Objective
• Familiarize participants with the ISO requirements on documented information
• Provide practical knowledge on the preparation, review, approval, revision, and control of documents, forms, and SOPs
• Ensure proper safekeeping, accessibility, and disposal of records and documents
• Promote process standardization through well-prepared SOPs
III. Scope of Work:
The seminar will cover the following areas:
• Overview of ISO standards on documented information
• Roles and responsibilities of Documented Information Controllers and Custodians
• Preparation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures
• Procedures for creation, review, approval, and control of documents
• Records retention, archiving and disposal
IV. Methodologies
• Lectures/discussion on ISO requirements and concepts
• Workshops and case studies
• Hands-on writing sessions for SOPs and other document information
• Feedback on drafted outputs
V. Learning Service Provider’s Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility
• At least 10 years of extensive experience as a consultant in quality and productivity, ISO and work improvement.
• Has experience in assisting government agencies in acquiring ISO Certification. Prior involvement in the DTI SO Alignment Project is an
advantage.
• Knowledge of and affiliation with national quality award programs such as the Philippine Quality Award, Malcolm Baldrige, and other similar national
quality award programs is an advantage.
VI. Scope of Learning Service Provider’s Deliverables
• Conduct of a one-day seminar for a minimum of 40 participants
• Learning manuals
• Pre-assessments tests
• Post Training Report
• Certificates
VII. Approved Budget
The approved budget for the two-day seminar is P120,000, inclusive of all applicable taxes which will cover payment for program design, diagnostics,
program execution for facilitator, participants’ manuals, and training materials, evaluation reports, certificates and excludes payment for venue and
food during the program.
V. Schedule of Payment
Payment is on a send bill arrangement. The payment will be processed after the conduct of the training and upon receipt of the Statement of Account and
other required documents such as post-program report including training evaluation and recommendation.
VI. Training Duration
The sessions must be conducted in November 2025.
VII. Submission of Documents
The winning bidder should submit the following required eligibility documents:
1. Applicable Business Registration Certificates (SEC, DTI, CDA) with Articles of Incorporation or Partnership (in case of corporation or
partnership)
2. Mayor’s Permit for the Current Year
3. Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN)
4. Company Profile
5. Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) Certification
Interested bidders are also requested to submit the following documents:
1. List of completed projects, with description and contract rate
2. List of past and existing clients
3. Resume indicating qualifications of individual consultants / resource persons to be deployed, including educational background, years of experience,
projects undertaken, client base and certifications/accreditations, if any
4. Program/Training design
5. Training Plan Execution
