1. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has received Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Balance/Additional work for Preservation, Conservation and Improvement works of Archaeological sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” through this Request for Bids (RFB).

2. The Project Management Unit (PMU) for KITE Project invites sealed bids for the Following Lots under “Balance/Additional work for Preservation, Conservation and Improvement works of Archaeological sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”;

3. Bidding will be conducted through single stage single, envelope process following national market approach using Request for Bids (RFB) as per provision in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (Revised November 2017, August 2018 & November 2022) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. A complete set of bidding documents can be downloaded from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department website www.kite.kptourism.com, or requested by writing an email to the procurment.kite@gmail.com Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours.

5. Bids must be delivered to the office address given below by or before 1400 hours on Monday, 22nd May 2023, and must be accompanied by a bid security of PKR. 500,000/- against each lot in the form of an irrevocable unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan, Pay order, or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR).

6. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, 9th May, 2023, at 1130 hours in the office of the Project Director, at the address given below. Late and incomplete bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ or their designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Monday, 22th May, 2023 at 1430 hours.
